Tax Preparation Tips
Some very basic tips about tax preparation- Be absolutely certain to sign your form. If you forget to sign your tax form you will have to wait for the IRS to return it to you. Do not send another form. If you do not receive it by the filing deadline you will have to file an extension.
- Don't make mistakes. Some minor corrections can be performed by the IRS when they review your forms. If you make a significant mistake on your tax form you must fill an Amend or correction using Form1040X. A significant mistake would be an incorrect entry for your total income or deductions or entry.
